The aim of NSVSC is to provide:
A free of charge, confidential, pension and welfare information service, for all Veterans’, service members and their dependents.
- Operate an accessible pension and welfare service that provides a central reference point for all serving, ex-service defence members in the Northern Suburbs of Western Australia.
- Provide competent management of pension and welfare services in accordance with Department of Veterans Affairs policy and practice.
The following information details our responsibilities as a volunteer, non-profit, independent organisation:
- To ensure that confidentiality is maintained between the NSVSC and it’s clients.
- To ensure the pension/welfare officers hold current registration with Veteran Indemnity Training Association (VITA) and are accredited under TIP’s.
- To ensure the Centre is staffed by at least one “VITA” registered pension/welfare officer at all times.
- To operate the Centre as a non-profit organization, staffed by volunteers to provide Pension and welfare assistance at no cost to the veteran, serving (Regular and Reserve), ex-service Defence Members and/or their Families.
