What We Do

The aim of NSVSC is to provide:

A free of charge, confidential, pension and welfare information service, for all Veterans’, service members and their dependents.

  • Operate an accessible pension and welfare service that provides a central reference point for all serving, ex-service defence members in the Northern Suburbs of Western Australia.
  • Provide competent management of pension and welfare services in accordance with Department of Veterans Affairs policy and practice.

The following information details our responsibilities as a volunteer, non-profit, independent organisation:

  • To ensure that confidentiality is maintained between the NSVSC and it’s clients.
  • To ensure the pension/welfare officers hold current registration with Veteran Indemnity Training Association (VITA) and are accredited under TIP’s.
  • To ensure the Centre is staffed by at least one “VITA” registered pension/welfare officer at all times.
  • To operate the Centre as a non-profit organization, staffed by volunteers to provide Pension and welfare assistance at no cost to the veteran, serving (Regular and Reserve), ex-service Defence Members and/or their Families.
We work closely with you and carry out research to understand your needs and wishes.
